This policy explains how Cosmic Path handles personal data when you use the website, request a reading, make a payment or contact support.
Cosmic Path is operated under the trading name MMWW, an independent business based in Northern Ireland, United Kingdom. MMWW is the data controller for information collected directly through Cosmic Path. Privacy questions and rights requests can be sent to support@mmww.eu.
Your birth and quiz data are used to create the reading you request. We do not sell this information, share it with advertisers, or use it to make decisions about credit, employment, insurance, healthcare or other legal rights.

Please do not include medical information, financial account details, government identifiers, passwords, or other highly sensitive material in free-text answers or support messages. Cosmic Path does not need that information to provide a reading.
02How a reading is generated
Your raw birth details are processed by the Cosmic Path application to calculate chart information. To generate the written reading, the service may send your name, derived chart placements and the quiz context you supplied to an AI service. Depending on the current configuration, this may use OpenRouter and a selected model provider, or a locally hosted model.
AI providers act as service providers under their own data-processing and security terms. Because providers and routing can change, you should not enter information that you would not want processed by an external AI provider. We do not knowingly permit personal data submitted through Cosmic Path to be used for advertising.
03Service providers and sharing
We disclose information only where needed to run the service, comply with law, protect users, or deal with a business transaction. Relevant categories include:
- Stripe, which hosts and processes checkout. Cosmic Path does not receive or store your full card number or card security code.
- AI infrastructure and model providers, as described above, for generation of reading text.
- Hosting, networking and security providers used to deliver the website and API.
- Professional advisers or authorities where disclosure is legally required or reasonably necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
We do not sell personal data and do not share it with data brokers or advertising networks.
04International transfers
Some service providers may process information outside the United Kingdom or European Economic Area. Where required, we rely on an adequacy decision, approved contractual safeguards, or another lawful transfer mechanism.
05Storage and retention
We keep personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including delivery and restoration of a reading, customer support, fraud prevention, dispute handling and legal or accounting obligations. Retention is determined by the type of record, whether a purchase was made, whether support is active, and applicable limitation or tax periods. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or anonymise it where reasonably practicable.
You may request deletion of a reading record by emailing support with the reading ID. We may retain limited transaction or correspondence records where the law requires it or where needed to resolve a dispute.
06Browser storage, cookies and analytics
Cosmic Path stores a reading identifier in your browser's local storage so that the site can restore your most recent reading. You can remove it by clearing site data in your browser.
Cosmic Path does not currently use advertising cookies. When you move to Stripe's hosted checkout, Stripe may use cookies or similar technologies under its own privacy notice for security, fraud prevention and payment processing. If we enable non-essential analytics or marketing technology, we will update this notice and request consent where required.
07Your rights
Depending on where you live and the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to processing, receive portable data, and withdraw consent. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office or the relevant data protection authority in your country.
Send requests to support@mmww.eu. We may ask for enough information to verify that the request relates to you. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
08Security
We use proportionate technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorised access, alteration, loss or disclosure. No online system can be guaranteed completely secure, so please use the service with that limitation in mind.
09Children
Cosmic Path is intended only for adults aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. Contact us if you believe a child has supplied information through the service.
10Automated content
The reading is generated automatically, but it is entertainment content and does not produce legal or similarly significant effects. We do not use the reading to determine eligibility, pricing, access to essential services or other rights.
11Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the service, providers or law changes. The current version and update date will always be published on this page.
